

Aiken Technical College

Founded in 1972, Aiken Technical College is a public, open-door, two-year, comprehensive institution of higher education established to provide citizens of greater Aiken County opportunities for educational and workforce development. The College offers numerous academic programs in business, computer technology, health science, early childhood, criminal justice, manufacturing, nuclear, and university transfer.
Community members may also enroll in a variety of continuing education courses. Aiken Technical College is a recipient of the 2019-2020 Military Friendly School and 2019-2020 Military Friendly Spouse School honors. Aiken Technical College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

We also keep the goal of obtaining a bachelor’s degree within reach for many students by offering Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees, a number of program transfer tracks, and more than 85 courses that transfer to four-year colleges and universities.
