Machine Tool Operator

Machine tool operators produce metal or plastic machined parts by setting up and operating a machine that cuts, shapes and forms metal and plastic material or pieces. Machine tool operators may work with mechanical or computer operated equipment. They must be technically-inclined and be able to properly utilize tools and machinery.
